This 8-day journey is centered around giving, personal growth, and creating lifelong connections. For the past nine years, GoSephardic has run an extraordinary summer camp for children across Israel, bringing together dedicated staff from around the world.

What are the dates?
July 20-28, 2025
Do I need to speak Hebrew?
No, but it helps! We offer an opportunity to learn basic Hebrew beforehand.
What ages are the children?
6-13 years old.
How are children selected for the camp?
We work directly with Israel’s Department of Welfare and Child Services to ensure the most deserving children benefit from this experience.
What is my role?
Each staff member is assigned one or two children for the duration of the camp. Your job? Be yourself! Bring positive energy, have fun, and create an unforgettable experience for your camper. You’ll relive childhood as you accompany them through daily activities.
What does a typical day look like?
Your day starts around 8:00 AM, when you’ll board the bus and meet the children. Activities run until about 3:00 PM, after which you’ll have free time.
Must I stay in the hotel?
Yes, all staff must stay with the group in designated accommodations.
Can I visit family?
Yes, but only during your free time. Overnight stays outside the hotel are not permitted.
What is the cost?
$799 (All-inclusive!) This covers flights, accommodations, and one meal per day. As a group, we run a fundraiser to enhance the camp experience, covering special activities (like an epic BBQ for soldiers—you’ll love it!).
Can I extend my flight?
Yes! Any additional cost for extensions is your responsibility, and we encourage it!
What ages are the staff?
Typically, 20-25 years old, both men and women.

- Netanya
- Shabbat in Jerusalem
What are the accommodations like?
Simple, clean and functional—because we prioritize spending donations on the children’s experience rather than luxury hotels. This is a volunteer-driven mission for those passionate about giving.
Why is this trip so affordable?
GoSephardic coordinates efforts with the Israeli Government’s Department of Diaspora Affairs, private donors, and fundraising efforts to make this experience possible.
Are there classes on the trip?
Yes, but attendance is optional.
Is This Experience for You?
Step 1:
Pay a $26 non-refundable pre-registration fee and schedule a Zoom interview.
Step 2:
Complete a Zoom interview and wait for acceptance decision.
Step 3:
Upon acceptance, submit the $799 payment (Your spot is not confirmed until full payment is received).
Step 4:
Receive confirmation and work with our office to book your flight.
Step 5:
Come to Israel and have the experience of a lifetime!
