ITINERARY

Day 0 - SUN- Fly out

Sunday, April 29, you fly out to Casablanca, Morocco! Exciting! Plus, you’ll speak a foreign language as you stop over somewhere in Europe on your way there! (Montreal may have direct flights though!)

Day 1 - MON- Casablanca

After flying out from your city on Sunday, April 29, you land in Casa. Chill and get used to your new surroundings, and best of all, meet the group!

 

Day 2 - TUE - Casablanca

Your first full day! We explore the city, visit the only Jewish museum in the Islamic world, the old Jewish quarter in the Medina, beautiful city square, famous synagogues, the largest mosque in Africa, and experience the vibrancy of modern Jewish life in Morocco. PHew.

Day 3 - WED - FEZ/OUAZANNE

Double header!

Considered the spiritual center of Morocco, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, step back 6 centuries into the medieval world, where narrow cobbled streets are filled with ancient buildings and minarets.

Add to this the world famous tanery tour you’ll never forget, Rambam’s house, 17th century synagogues inside the Mellah, home to 11 synagogues, shopping and more!

TOMB OF SOLIKA

Considered a holy place for Jews and gentiles alike, you’ll learn of the story and power of this location.

WORLD-WIDE HILULA

Experience the incredible vibe and pilgrimage of 1,000s visiting the gravesite of Rav Amram ben Diwan! Connect with Jews from aroudn the world as they converge on this holy place, with song, music, great food and dancing.

Day 4 - THU - FEZ & MEKNES

We continue visiting Fez (there’s so much to experience!) and make it over to Meknes.

Visit the medieval Medina, with its unique atmosphere and outstanding architechture, a true example of a medieval town hundreds of years old.

Meknes, known as the Jerusalem of Morocco, a different type of authentic lifestyle is explored, along with Jewish remenants, the old study centers, and walking tours through the famous gates.

Day 5 - FRI - RABAT

Rabat is home to the main Royal Palace. It is know for its pristene and immaculately clean streets and flavour.

Visit the Kasbah, museum and Jewish sites, the man who saves the Jews of Morocco from the Nazis and the famous gardens if that’s your fancy!

SHABBAT IN MARRAKECH WITH OTHER YOUNG PROFESSIONALS FROM LONDON!

We make it to Marrakech in time for an authentic Shabbat experience with a Chazak- a group of British young professionals like you. L’Chaim!

Day 6 - SAT - MARRAKECH

We use Shabbat in the colorful city of Marrakech to recharge, as well as take in this huge city center.

Day 7 - SUN - MARRAKECH & ATLAS MOUNTAINS

Immerse yourself in in the massive squares, unique sights and smells of Marrakech in the most vibrant place in Morocco.

500 year old shuls and the endless shouk journey, featuring acrobats, snake-charmers and magicians. It is one of the highlights of the Morocco exp.

TIME TRAVEL

Then take a tour in a time machine to observe the splendid views of the Atlas Mountains, down Eureka Valley, and see how Jews used to hundreds of years ago in an authentic, and friendly Berber village. Explore incredible mountsights, the grave of R’ Ben Hence and learn the story of the snake.

FINAL BANQUET

After a week together, your new family wishes to celebrate the end of an unforgettable time. We do so from Casablanca, where the trip ends, but your life as friends begins…

Day 8 - MON - FLY OUT from Casablanca

Pack up and head out back home, or continue your adventures on your own!

One thing is for sure- it’ll be the most magical trip of your life thus far!
